In the Mystery of the Transfiguration of Jesus, we are given a glimpse of Resurrection-promise, even as we are reminded of the sacrifice of a Beloved Son.

This feast also invites us to reflect how the vocation of the Apostles—to tell the story of Jesus—witnesses to the great truth of Christmas.

We have been re-created for love, for joy, for zeal, and for gratitude. We have been granted the freedom to be truly alive.
